The Wet Bandits are apprehended by the police after being severely injured by Kevin's traps.
Kevin’s mom, Kate McCallister, makes a frantic journey back home and reunites with Kevin on Christmas morning.
Old Man Marley, the mysterious neighbor Kevin is initially afraid of, turns out to be kind and saves Kevin from the burglars in the end.
